Sarka Pokorna is currently a postdoc in the lab of Tony Futerman at the Weizmann institute of Science, Israel. Sarka’s research interests focus on membrane biophysics explored by advanced fluorescence techniques. Current main project, running in collaboration with Liana C. Silva, aims to understand the biophysical alterations of cell membranes in lysosomal storage diseases (LSDs) and their relation to LSDs pathology.
